Recently stayed at this charming lodge in Lake Placid for a relaxing 2-day stopover. The rustic interior, quality outdoor chairs, and heated, saltwater pool surrounded by hedges were lovely. The communal kitchen with coffee each morning was convenient for hikers. The short walk to town was great, and the keypad entry made things easy. Dimmable lights over the bed and a separate toilet and shower in the room were thoughtful touches. a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! Our purpose for visiting was to explore the local attractions and the location was perfect. It was close to Main St, restaurants, lakes, boat rentals, and a supermarket. The area was quiet and the sound insulation was great. The cleanliness was impeccable throughout the hotel and the staff were polite and attentive. The fact that they had a kitchen was a big bonus for us, especially with kids. Even on a cool day, we were able to enjoy the heated pool and the outdoor grill and fire pit. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at THL! We were in Lake Placid for a ski trip and the location was perfect. The staff, especially Marisa, was extremely helpful and gave great recommendations for places to go out. The shared kitchen was a huge plus and offered great coffee. The proximity to Whiteface Mountain was a 15-20 minute drive, making it super convenient for us. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to ski!
